Expected Costs to Participate

1. Team Fee - Pay what you can *

Covers items like Race Jersey, Practice shirt, adventure events, coaching resources and training, team equipment and supplies, practice facility fees.

2. NICA/PICL Fee - $260

Covers insurance, NICA registration, and PICL league operations.

3. Race Registrations, $50+

$50/race or $90 for "all-in" for entire race season (5+ events). All-in registration closes August 1st.

4. Equipment Cost

Each rider will need a safely functioning, properly fitted bike designed for mountain biking use. Bike costs vary greatly but entry level mountain bikes typically start around $800. Competitive riders can invest thousands in their bike, but it is not necessary to spend thousands to be competitive. Learn more about bikes and gear here. There may be resources available for interested athletes who cannot afford equipment. Please send us a message if costs are prohibiting you from joining us!

* We have historically charged a $150 annual team fee to cover our team costs. But our goal is to GET MORE KIDS ON BIKES. Thanks to generous business sponsors, we are able to offset team fees for those unable to cover this fee. Please pay what you're able. Additional details are found on our Team Registration Form.
